Ghanta Ghar<\/a>, popularly known as the Clock Tower, is a well-known monument in Jodhpur’s ancient city. The bustling Sardar Market, located near the Ghanta Ghar<\/strong>, is a popular shopping district in Jodhpur, with tiny lanes leading to a bazaar selling spices, Indian sweets, textiles, vegetables, silver, and handicrafts. This is a wonderful spot to wander around at your leisure. Because of the Sadar Market, Ghanta Ghar is the busiest site in Jodhpur. Ghanta Ghar in Jodhpur was built between 1880 and 1991 by late Maharaja Sardar Singh and is an architectural marvel.<\/p>\n

Ghanta Ghar is an excellent example of stone construction from the nineteenth century. It is entirely composed of sandstone, matching the sandstone of the Mehrangarh Fort<\/a> in the distance. For the curious, there is also the active market area, which sells a large and beautiful assortment of handicrafts, including Rajasthani sarees and kurtas, local crafts, bangles, souvenirs, and much more. The entire region is a shopaholic’s dream come true, with over 7000 small and large stores.
