Day 01 : Bangalore \u2013 Shravanabelagola \u2013 Moodbidri<\/a><\/h3>\n
Our representative will pick up you from Bangalore (Airport or Railway station or Residence) and drive to Shravanabelagola<\/strong>. The Shravanabelagola temple is a holy place for the Jains and is world famous for the majesty of\u00a0Bhagawan Bahubali<\/strong>\u00a0(also known as Gommateshwara in Kannada Language) towering over everything around. On arrival at Shravanabelagola, visit the 57 feet tall monolith statue of Bhagawan Bahubali located a top of\u00a0Vindhyagiri Hill<\/strong>. The statue is regarded as world tallest monolith statue and was installed in 981 AD by Chavundraya. Get the divine blessings and then proceed to visit the nearest\u00a0Chandragiri hill<\/strong>\u00a0and visit few Basadis (Jain Temples). After lunch, drive to\u00a0Moodbidri<\/strong>, one of the important religious center for Jains nestled in the natures beauty. Moodbidri is popularly known as\u00a0Jain Kashi<\/strong>\u00a0because the town houses 18 beautiful Basadis (Jain temples), sacred scriptures of Jainism, the Dhawalas found in their original form on palm leaves 4500 in number. Day 02 : Moodbidri<\/a><\/h3>\n
On day 02 of the tour package, full day free for temple visits at Moodbidri. First (at 6.30 AM) visit Badaga Basadi<\/strong>, the 16 century temple housing idol of Lord Chandranatha. Then visit\u00a0Tribhuvan Tilak Chudamani Basadi<\/strong>\u00a0(also called as Thousand Pillar Temple or Hosa Basadi)<\/em>\u00a0is ornately carved in the Vijayanagar style and is the largest basadi compared to other Basadis. Then visit other Basadis, Amongst the 18 Basadi, the most famous are\u00a0Hire Basadi<\/strong>\u00a0(renowned as Ammanavara Basadi)<\/em>\u00a0the presiding deity of this Basadi is Shanthinatha. Being an ancient one the Basadi bears the name Hire Basadi. Then visit\u00a0Shettra Basadi<\/strong>,\u00a0Leppada Basadi<\/strong>,\u00a0Guru Basadi<\/strong>,\u00a0Derammashetti Basadi<\/strong>,\u00a0Patashala Basadi<\/strong>,\u00a0Kallu Basadi<\/strong>\u00a0and other remaining Jain Basadis. Evening, visit to Ancient Jain Pond (Betkeri water pond) and National archaeological monument Jain Tomb (Samadhis of Jaina Ascetics), Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.<\/div>\n

Day 03 : Moodbidri \u2013 Dharmasthala \u2013 Bangalore<\/a><\/h3>\n
Morning, check out the hotel and drive to Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala<\/strong>, the abode of Lord Manjunatha swami and the sacred place of Hindus and Jains. Dharmasthala is a Indian temple town on the banks of the Nethravathi River in the Belthangady taluk of the Dakshina Kannada district. One can see the blend of Hinduism and Jainism at Dharmasthala. On arrival at Dharmasthala, visit\u00a0Chandranathaswami Basadi<\/strong>\u00a0(Jain Temple) located nearby Nelyadi Beedu (beside Car Museum), then visit to\u00a0Lord Manjunatha swami Temple<\/strong>\u00a0(Hindu Temple) and the statue of\u00a0Bhagawan Bahubali<\/strong>\u00a0(Gommateshwara).
