Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Cochin
Receive a warm welcome from Mahendra India Travel Representative. Check in to the pre booked hotel. After a brief discussion about the tour, go for a sightseeing tour that includes visit to Mattancherry Palace, Synagogue and Fort Cochin. Overnight stay in the Cochin Hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar (125 Kms/4 hrs approx.)
Drive to Munnar after having your breakfast and leave for Munnar, Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03 : Munnar
Spend your morning relaxing and relaxing. In the Afternoon, there will be a sightseeing trip visit the tea plantation, Tea Museum, Eravikulam national park and Mattupetty dam. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 04 : Munnar – Thekkady (90 Kms/ 3 hrs approx.)
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Thekkady, later visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and also enjoy the spice plantation tour. Enjoy evening Boating in Lake Periyar. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05 : Thekkady – Kumarakom ( 122 km / 3.5 hrs approx.)
Drive to Kumarakom, check in to the hotel. Later visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Vembanad River, Rest of the day to admire serene beauty. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 06 : Kumarakom —Alleppey (32 Kms/ 1 hrs approx)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will start an astonishing or thrilling journey to the central hub of the Kerala backwater network “Alleppey”. By reaching Alleppey you can board on your private houseboat to discover the backwaters and its serene beauty. Enjoy the ride; delicious cuisines and an overnight stay on a houseboat.
Day 07 : Alleppey – Kovalam (160Kms/5.5hrs Approx)
Post breakfast, in the morning, drive to the world famous Kovalam Beach and later check in to the hotel. The rest of the day, you can spend on leisure activities.
Day 08 : Kovalam
Day at leisure for independent activities. One can enjoy a session of Ayurveda massage. Relax at your resort, Overnight spend at Kovalam.
Day 09 : Kovalam —Trivandrum (15 kms/ 30 mins approx.)
