Manshapurn Karni Mata Ropeway Udaipur

The Maharana Karan Singh-built Mansapurna Karni Mata Temple was a very difficult place for the general people to visit because it was perched atop the Machhala Magar mountaintop. It was not a temple that received a lot of visitors before because of this. But in order to make it simpler for the general public to access the sacred site and seek the blessings of Goddess Karni, a ropeway line connecting the plain and the temple at the top of the hill was started in 2008. Although it takes more than 15 minutes and is fairly hard and exhausting, there is now a stairway that leads up to the temple and can be accessed from Maniklal Verma Park.

On the other side, the ropeway not only gives a quick and pleasant way to get to the temple but also offers a breathtaking perspective of the surrounds. The first ropeway conveyance in Rajasthan is the 387-meter ropeway cable line that connects Deendayal Upadhyay Park to the hilltop Karni Mata Temple. The cable cars, also known as gondolas, are bidirectional and each one can carry six passengers on one trip and six more on the return. You might even be fortunate enough to see a stunning sunset from the cable cars if you arrive in the evening between 6 and 7:30 PM.
