Bullet Baba Temple - Om Banna Temple

Om Banna is also known as Bullet Banna. A temple devoted to a god who rides a motorcycle can be found in the Pali area of Rajasthan, India, near Jodhpur. Bullet Baba Mandir is the name of the temple. Despite the fact that this temple has no history of its own, it has been added to the list of Rajasthan’s most famous temples. This is an Indian shrine where a Royal Enfield bullet motorcycle is worshipped. The motorcycle is a Royal Enfield Bullet RNJ 7773, which has a 350cc engine.

On the Pali-Jodhpur route near Chottila village, this temple is 20 kilometres from Pali and 50 kilometres from Jodhpur.

According to witnesses, Om Singh Rathore, a village chief, was riding his bullet motorcycle from the city to Chityala hamlet on December 2, 1991. He crashed his motorcycle after losing control and colliding with a tree. The motorcycle was seized by the local police after the accident and transferred to the police station. The motorcycle, however, was discovered the next morning at the accident location. The cops have returned it to the station and are attempting to bind the chains. Remove the motorcycle’s gasoline tank and empty it. Despite their efforts, the motorcycle vanished again the next morning and was later discovered at the accident location.

Locals began to regard it as a miracle, and they began to worship ‘bullet bikes.‘ The miracle motorcycle’s fame spread to neighbouring communities, and they later constructed a temple to worship it. The ‘Shrine of Bullet Baba’ is the name given to this temple. Om Banna’s spirit is said to assist distressed passengers.

Every day, the villagers and passengers worship and offer prasad to the late owner, Om Singh Rathore. At this location, some drivers also provide a little bottle of wine. The devotee makes a ‘Tilak’ mark on his forehead and then ties a crimson thread to the motorbike before setting off on their trek.
