Day 1: Arrival in Delhi / Overnight in Delhi
On your arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax. Spend the day at leisure and have an amazing dinner at some of the best restaurants there. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi / Overnight in Delhi
On your second day in Delhi, after having your breakfast at the hotel, you can explore the city’s many attractions. Start your day with a visit to the iconic India Gate, a 42-metre-high stone arch built in memory of those who died in World War I. Then, head to the Red Fort, a magnificent Mughal-era fort that once served as the residence of the Mughal emperors. Afterward, explore the bustling Chandni Chowk market, known for its colourful bazaars, street food, and traditional shops. In the afternoon, visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. Finally, end your day with a visit to Qutub Minar, a 73-metre-high tower that is the tallest brick minaret in the world. After a full day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra / Sightseeing / Overnight in Agra
Begin your day with a drive to Agra. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Post lunch, head out for sightseeing. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit the Taj Mahal. It is a symbol of love built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Post the Taj Mahal visit, proceed to the Agra Fort, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort is built of red sandstone and was the main residence of the Mughal Emperors until 1638. Later, explore the local markets for souvenirs. Go back to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur / Overnight in Jaipur
Start your day with a sunrise drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Explore the ruins and soak in the grandeur of this once-flourishing capital. Later, continue your drive to Jaipur and explore the city’s many sights, including the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar, and the Albert Hall Museum. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur local sightseeing / Overnight in Jaipur
In the morning, you will visit the majestic Amber Fort, situated on a hilltop overlooking Maota lake. Take a jeep ride to the fort and marvel at the intricate architecture of the palace. After that, head to Hawa Mahal, the “Palace of Winds”, and visit the stunning City Palace which houses a museum with antique artefacts, paintings, and an armoury. Later, explore the bustling markets of Jaipur and shop for traditional jewellery, clothes, and souvenirs. In the evening, you can witness a traditional dance performance at the local theatre. Return to your hotel for the night.
Day 6: Back to Delhi / Tour Ends
After having a lovely breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and driven back to Delhi from where your trip started. There, your tour also ends.
