Day 1: Jaipur Heritage Tour
Morning
Begin your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most famous forts. Built with red sandstone and marble, the fort showcases grand courtyards, royal palaces, mirror work, and impressive architecture. Explore attractions like Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pol, Diwan-e-Aam, and Diwan-e-Khas while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.
On the way back, stop at Jal Mahal, the picturesque Water Palace situated in the center of Man Sagar Lake. Although entry inside the palace is restricted, it offers one of the best photography spots in Jaipur.
Afternoon
Proceed to the City Palace, the royal residence of Jaipur’s former royal family. The palace complex houses beautiful courtyards, museums, royal costumes, weapons, manuscripts, and stunning architecture blending Rajput and Mughal styles.
Next, visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the world’s largest stone astronomical instruments. Learn about ancient Indian astronomy and admire the precision of these centuries-old observatories.
Just a short walk away is the famous Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. Its unique honeycomb façade with 953 windows allowed royal ladies to observe street festivals without being seen.
Evening
Spend your evening exploring the bustling markets of Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar. Shop for gemstones, traditional jewelry, block-printed fabrics, handicrafts, mojari footwear, blue pottery, and souvenirs. Day 2: Forts, Museums & Local Attractions
Morning
After breakfast, head to Nahargarh Fort, located on the Aravalli Hills. The fort offers spectacular panoramic views of Jaipur city and is an excellent place for photography. Explore Madhavendra Bhawan, royal chambers, and the historic fortifications.
Continue to Jaigarh Fort, famous for housing the world’s largest cannon on wheels, Jaivana Cannon. The fort also offers magnificent views of Amber Fort and the surrounding landscape.
Afternoon
Visit the Albert Hall Museum, Rajasthan’s oldest museum. The museum features an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, carpets, musical instruments, coins, pottery, and Egyptian artifacts.
