Rusirani Village (Jaipur)

The pink metropolis and Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur, lies 56 miles (90 km) away from the small hamlet of Rusirani Village.

This town is located close to Sariska National Park, tucked away in the Aravali mountain. Additionally, because of the hills in the area, the community is cut off from even its neighbours. Tourism and even people have not heard of it or even visited it. The community becomes a time capsule for ancient history and a way of life reminiscent of early civilizations as a result.

Do you realise this settlement has panoramic views and is 2000 years old? However, that is not the reason we adore this location so much. We adore it for its friendly neighbourhood and authentic portrayal of Indian culture, which, incidentally, is still alive and well in Indian communities.

You travel back in time to Rusirani Village. And by all means, we mean that! Add to it the lack of an electrical supply, poor communication, and inadequate transportation. It is astounding how the residents of this village are still decades behind the times in the twenty-first century. We rest our case if this isn’t a singular experience worthy of attesting to.
