Savitri Mata Ropeway (Pushkar)

The ropeway provides a bird’s eye perspective of the entire town while overlooking the lovely and picturesque lake. You travel across the Ratnagiri Hills to reach the Savitri Mata Temple at the summit. It allows all pilgrims, especially elderly and disabled devotees, to visit the Holy Temple in less than 6 minutes and travel a distance of 720 metres without having to endure the arduous, steep climb of little more than 1100 steps.

One of Pushkar’s treasures is the Savitri Mata Temple, which is set high up on a hillside amidst beautiful vegetation. Both religious and non-religious visitors are drawn by the breathtaking views that the Ropeway and the temple itself offer. The renowned Brahma Temple is nearby, and it is said that a trip to Pushkar would be incomplete without stopping by both the Brahma and Savitri Mata temples.
