DESTINATION COVERED: DELHI – UDAIPUR – RANAKPUR – JODHPUR – JAISALMER – KHIMSAR – PUSHKAR – JAIPUR – AGRA – DELHI

01° DAY: : ITALY – DELHI

Departure from Italy with flight to Delhi. Upon your arrival in Delhi a representative of our office will come to welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

02° DAY: DELHI

After breakfast at the hotel, start the visits of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), the Red Fort, the Friday Mosque “Jama Masjid” with an exciting ride on the pedal rickshaw in the narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi. Then visit New Delhi with its most important monuments: the colonial era government buildings in front of the India Gate, the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun and the Qutub Minar complex. Overnight stay.

03° DAY: DELHI – UDAIPUR (With the internal flight)

Departure for Udaipur with internal flight, arrival in Udaipur and accommodation in the hotel, then visit the “White City” or “of dawn” with the City-Palace (still the residence of the Maharajah) and its museum, the Sahelion Ki Bari which at the time was the garden of the Harem. In the afternoon boat excursion on Lake Pichola to visit the Jag Mandir temple. Overnight stay in the hotel.

04° DAY: UDAIPUR – RANAKPUR – JODHPUR (275 km. 6 hours approximately)

After breakfast departure for Jodhpur, the “Blue City”. Stop to visit the Jain temples in Ranakpur, truly a masterpiece of marble inlay by the craftsmen of the time. Continue to Jodhpur, arrival and visit the imposing and beautiful Mehrangarh Fort, overnight stay at the hotel.

05° DAY: JODHPUR – JAISALMER (290 km. Approximately 6 hours)

After breakfast, departure for Jaisalmer, crossing almost the entire Tar desert, on the western border with Pakistan. Jaisalmer is probably the most exotic destination of the entire trip. Stop to visit the Gadi Sagar Lake. Arrival and overnight stay at the hotel.

06° DAY: JAISALMER

After breakfast, visit to the fortified citadel and its palaces. Particular attention will be paid to its numerous temples and Haveli such as Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Patwon-Ji-Ki-Haveli. In the afternoon, excursion to admire the sunset on the dunes of the Thar desert on the back of a camel guided by the Bedouins of the area wrapped in their fascinating cloaks. Overnight stay at the hotel.

07° DAY: JAISALMER – KHIMSAR (320 km. Approximately 6 hours)

Breakfast and departure for Khimsar. We have designed this route for those who want to discover an unusual Rajasthan: the journey is dotted with the presence of tiny villages characterized by houses built with mud and decorated with the geometric patterns characteristic of each village. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, excursion by Jeep to a nature reserve. Overnight stay at the hotel.

08° DAY : KHIMSAR – PUSHKAR (205 km. 4 hours approx.)

After breakfast, in the morning, excursion to Nagur Fort and transfer to Pushkar where you will stay in a tent village. In the afternoon you will begin to attend the various fair events. Overnight stay in reserved tents.

09° DAY : PUSHKAR

After breakfast, the entire day is dedicated to the “discovery” of the Fair. Overnight stay.

10° DAY : PUSHKAR – JAIPUR (145 km. 3 hours approx.)

After breakfast, in the morning, departure for Jaipur called the “Pink City”. Arrival in Jaipur, hotel accommodation. Free afternoon for personal activities / relaxation. Overnight stay.

12° DAY : JAIPUR

Breakfast at the hotel and immediately visit to the Amber Fort, 11 km. from Jaipur, an imposing fortress of the Rajput civilization. To overcome the last stretch of the climb to the fort, you ride on the backs of placid elephants almost to recall the ancient deeds of the Maharajahs. Inside the walls you can visit palaces and pavilions of refined beauty and the small but precious temple of the Goddess Kali. In the afternoon, visit the city, capital of Rajasthan, the “pink city”, among the most beautiful and picturesque in India. Visit the famous and depicted in all the postcards Hawa Mahal or the palace of the winds and the palace of the Maharaja (City Palace), largely converted into a museum and the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar). Overnight stay.

13° DAY: JAIPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA (240 km. Approximately 5 hours)

After breakfast, transfer to Agra, stopping in Fatehpur Sikri to visit the deserted capital of the 16th century, abandoned after only 14 years of its construction, with beautiful red sandstone buildings. Arrival in Agra and accommodation in the hotel, afternoon is dedicated to the visit of Taj Mahal, Taj Mahal, named the first wonder of the world, reachable by carriage, called “Tonga”. Overnight stay in the hotel.

14° DAY: AGRA – DELHI – ITALY (230 km. Approximately 5 hours)

After breakfast, in the morning visit the Agra Fort, ancient imperial residence of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Around midday departure for Delhi, along the way stop to visit the Tomb of Akbar in Sikandra. Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the international airport for departure with return flight to Italy.
