01° DAY: ITALY – COCHIN
Departure from Italy with flight to Cochin. Upon your arrival in Cochin a representative of our office will come to welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
02° DAY: COCHIN
After breakfast visit of Cochin, the most cosmopolitan and varied city of South India due to its history: the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry, the synagogue with the Jewish quarter, the church of San Francesco which preserves the tombstone of Vasco de Gama, the Chinese nets. Overnight stay at the hotel.
03° DAY: COCHIN – MUNNAR (145 km. 4 hours approx.)
After breakfast, departure for Munnar, a climatic hill station at 1700 meters above sea level. Arrival in the evening. Overnight stay.
04° DAY: MUNNAR – PERIYAR (100 km. 2 hours approx.)
After breakfast, transfer to Periyar (Thekkady). Along the journey you will enter the cardamon hills (the spice hill). In the evening, arrival at the village of Kumly, excellent for shopping for Indian handicrafts and spices. Overnight stay.
05° DAY: PERIYAR
Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the Periyar park. In the early evening, boat excursion on the homonymous lake (good chances of seeing wildlife, especially birds but also elephants). Overnight stay.
06° DAY : PERIYAR – KUMARAKOM – ALLEPPEY (125 km. 3:30 hours approximately)
After breakfast, transfer to Kumarakom, boarding in the early afternoon in the House Boat. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
07° DAY : ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM (170 km. 4:30 hours approximately)
Arrival in the morning in Alleppey and transfer by car to Kovalam. Accommodation in the Hotel and rest of the day at your disposal. Overnight stay.
08° DAY : KOVALAM
Breakfast in the hotel and rest of the day at your disposal for Ayurvedic treatments, relaxation or beach and seaside activities. Overnight stay in the hotel.
09° DAY : KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM – ITALY
In the morning transfer to the airport to take the return flight to Italy.
